Opening credits: Right Back Where We Started From – Marcia Hines.
heh, sounding like a girly romance comedy all positive and cute!

Waking up: Believe – Cher.
Yup, definitely a romance…or maybe a girl learns life lessons movie?

First day at school: Peace & Healing – Roma Downey.
More positives; finding real peace and healing for a weary soul.

Falling in love: Walking On Sunshine – Katrina & The Waves
“I just cant wait till the day when you knock on my door” Perfect!

Breaking up: I Don’t Care – Shakespeare’s Sister
“Whenever I fall, I land on my feet” Yay, more good stuff! ;)

Prom: Nothing Can Divide Us – Jason Donovan
Awww, what a perfectly cute and smooshy song for a prom (or rather, ‘formal’, for us Aussies)

Life’s okay: I Still Believe in You – Cliff Richard
One of my most favourite songs, it is just so lovely and gentle:

“Other dreams may turn to dust,
But I don’t care, if you’ll be there
I’ll always trust”

Mental breakdown: I Want To Know What Love Is – Foreigner.
Now this is perfect, more lyrics that fit so well especially as I have been through this kind of breakdown recently:

“In my life there’s been heartache and pain
I don’t know if I can face it again
I can’t stop now, I’ve traveled so far
To change this lonely life”

Driving: Things That Make You Go Hmmm – C+C Music Factory
Some drivers certainly do make you go hmmm…or maybe %$#&^*! ;p

Flashback: Treaty – Yothu Yindi
Not sure how this would tie in with a flashback for my life….’cause it’s by Australians?

Getting back together: It’ll Be Me – Cliff Richard
Gotta have Cliffy music for getting back together! Actually, I gotta have Cliffy music whatever. This is a really cute song, one of his very early ones.

“Well if you see something shooting out across the stars
If you see a rocket ship on it’s way to Mars
Baby it’ll be me
Yeah I’ll be looking for you”

Wedding: Insatiable – Darren Hayes.
Oooh, can I have this one for the Wedding night, too?? Just read the lyrics if you don’t follow my drift. Miaooww! That would be one heck of a Wedding and after ;)

Birth of child: When You Walk in the Room – Paul Carrack
Umm, kinda fits. Maybe. At least the first word is Baby!

“Baby, it’s a dream come true”

Final battle: Out of Reach – Gabrielle
I do love this song…but…I guess the title fits?

Funeral song: Wired For Sound – Cliff Richard.
Umm, this would be a VERY odd choice. Wired For (Angelic) Sound maybe? At least it was a Cliffy one! ;)

End credits: All Out of Love – Air Supply
“I’m all out of love, I’m so lost without you” heh! That fits, I guess.

Most of the songs were pretty good, just one or two that made absolutely no sense, not even if I really stretched the true meaning of the songs. Fun though! I’d love to read what other people get, please let me know if you do this on your weblog. You can also leave yours in the comments if you want.

No Smoke Without Fire

Photos of the smoke from one of the Blue Mountains fires:

No, those aren’t clouds, that’s smoke:

Ugh, and now, minutes after posting this, I can hear lots of sirens nearby. I hope they aren’t fire engines. It’s getting very windy here which isn’t good at all…

Inferno Threat in the Blue Mountains

The two fires burning in the Blue Mountains have now merged and escaped containment lines. Weather conditions expected could cause a possible “inferno due to soaring temperatures and strong winds” (Dora Tsavdaridis). The Blue Mountains National Park is now closed due to conditions expected today.

Rural Fire Service commissioner Phil Koperberg yesterday said the towns of Wentworth Falls, Leura, Katoomba and Woodford could all be at risk… Mr Koperberg said there was an increasing concern “flames could change direction and threaten residential properties in the south-east of the fire front”.

Yikes! Possible inferno?! The now huge fire front possibly changing direction and coming this way?! Okay, now I really am nervous and not at all looking forward to this afternoon when conditions are forecast to be at their worst.
