Here we are on Blogtoberfest Day 10. It is the tenth day of the tenth month in 2010! I have a post on the go that I meant to post today, but haven’t finished yet. I’m having one of those crises of what to write about and lacking the confidence to write about much at all. Meh.
Today was a lovely day. We picked up two gorgeous black kitty ornaments that I won on eBay and then did a bit of shopping at a local mall. I was thrilled to discover that some stores such as Myer, have Christmas decorations that are reproductions of those gorgeous vintage ones from around the 50s and 60s. Planning on buying some closer to Christmas and decorating one of our trees with a mix of real vintage as well as reproduction decorations.
While we were out we bought a feast of cheeses, including vintage Cheddar, Camembert, Gouda, Goats cheese and more, plus some pate and quince paste. We enjoyed some while watching the F1 Grand Prix. Max spent some of that time on my lap and enjoyed a nibble or two of cheese. When I took the photo above, Max was waiting for more treaties and my Husbitect was holding his drink of some delicious Laphroaig scotch. At least, to those who enjoy scotch, it is delicious. I am more partial to a nice glass of white wine. Or champagne if it is a special occasion. Sorry for the lower quality photo; I took it with my phone.
To those of you who also have blogs; do you suffer from wondering if you are interesting enough? I must admit that when I visit other, more popular blogs (which is most), I feel inadequate as I get so few comments compared to what other people receive. Mind you, maybe my crises in bloggy terms comes from still not being totally sure what to write about. Do I stick to daily reflections and/or posts about what I like, or should I be writing more focused posts on one or two topics. Hmm, something to think about.
